Chuck Budinger

A native of Arizona, Chuck was born and raised in Tuscon, AZ. He attended the University of Arizona where he earned a B.S. in Geological Engineering in 1986. He began his professional career in the Southeastern United States, performing subsurface investigations for hazardous waste facilities in the private sector. After 10 years, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and shifted his efforts to stormwater management and erosion control issues within municipalities. He moved back to Arizona three years ago for his current position with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). As the District Environmental Coordinator, he oversees and facilitates construction, maintenance, and permitted projects to comply with environmental rules and standards. Chuck is a certified Professional Geologist in Georgia (certification pending in AZ). He served on a technical advisory committee for the San Diego City Council for the Mission Bay Landfill closure. He is currently the chairperson for the Mayor of Prescott's advisory committee on Water Conservation Safe Yield. Chuck enjoys being a father, grandfather, and uncle to his son, granddaughter, and nieces/nephews in the Tucson area.
